Directed by Martin Schreier Both a Film Academy graduation project & television feature film for ProSieben, Robin Hood recalls the classic tale of the benevolent outlaw with a modern twist: Set in near-future Germany, a young police officer mourns at the loss of his remaining family after leading an investigation against the "ruling class" of finance estates. In order to expose their dark deeds, he teams up with a group of bankrobbers whom he originally had pursued. As one of the lead artists in the "in-house" group of Film Academy vfx students, I predominantly worked on the climactic showdown; In most cases the work involved adding muzzle flashes and impact FX throughout the sequence, however also providing some delicate rig removal and simulation of 3D glass shards for certain shots. |
